Melancholia

Where-oh-where did my weekend go? Oh-where-oh-where can it be?

Once upon a time, before modern medicine, physicians believed in humorism, a theory that claimed personality changes and physical ailments in a person to be related to an excess, deficit, or imbalance of the four humors, or body fluids, including blood, yellow bile, black bile, and phlegm. According to classical medicine, an excess of black bile in my body would easily explain my current state of melancholy. The solution usually involved blood-letting or vomitting in order to purge the surplus humor from the body. If only it were so simple.

I do not cope well with weekends that move at a faster rate than I do. Though, I did manage to conjure up a couple of posts for this week.
This weeks theme - THE PAST.
